Youth in Animation and Post-Production Initiative (YAPPI) is a Del-York Creative Academy and Mastercard Foundation program training 60,000 Nigerian youths (55% women) between 2023–2027 in animation, VFX, sound, and post-production. It combines 3 months online + 6 months in-person training across Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu. YAPPI also provides Its. Creative Lagos

Industry Program

Creative Lagos is a capacity-building program by DCA and Lagos State, training 1,000 creatives across all local districts. Launched in 2021 under the THEMES agenda, it aims to establish Lagos as Africa’s creative capital by 2025. Training spans filmmaking, digital media, arts, and tech, delivered via hybrid learning. Africa No Filter (ANF)

Industry Program

**Africa No Filter (ANF)** partnered with **Del-York Creative Academy (DCA)** in June 2025 to launch the **African Content Creators Lab**, a four-week program training 30 young creatives to challenge stereotypes about Africa through storytelling and marketing campaigns. Participants, drawn from the **African Narrative Collective**, work in teams like media consultancies and are mentored by industry experts. The program equips them with skills in narrative-driven storytelling, strategic campaigns, and innovative media engagement. ANF provides the narrative-shift vision, while DCA contributes technical training and creative industry expertise. Together, they aim to build a new generation of storytellers reshaping global perceptions of Africa.
