The impact of Del-York Creative Academy cannot be overemphasized after four (4) solid years of showcasing personal therapy from the graduating set of the October/November 2022 cohort! Guess what?

This short film, Personal Therapy, has bagged an official selection at the 17th edition of the Silicon Valley African Film Festival (SVAFF)—one of the most respected platforms for African and African diaspora storytelling in the United States.  

Held annually in San Jose, California, SVAFF was founded in 2010 by Nigerian filmmaker Chike Nwoffiah with a mission to present "Africa through the African lens". Its official selection is a curated slate, drawing seasoned and emerging filmmakers from across the continent and its diaspora—making Personal Therapy's inclusion a genuine industry endorsement, not just a screening slot.
