Film Directors create an overall vision for the film. Realizing this vision includes overseeing the artistic and technical elements of film production as well as directing the shooting timetable, meeting deadlines and adhering to budgets.  The director spends the most time on a project and is the one position that requires an intimate involvement during every stage of film production
